In 2027, I’m taking on one of the greatest challenges of my life: the Mongol Derby, a 1,000-kilometer horse race across the Mongolian steppe and one of the most demanding equestrian endurance races in the world.
But for me, this journey is about much more than crossing a finish line.
Over the next year, I’ll be documenting the entire road to Mongolia—from physical and mental preparation to long hours in the saddle, learning from other horsemen and women, testing gear, navigating setbacks, and ultimately returning to a country, culture, and people that left an incredible impression on me.
My goal is to bring you along for all of it.
I’ll share the adventure while exploring a bigger question:
How can the experiences we have, the choices we make, and the stories we tell leave ourselves, others, animals, and the world a little better than we found them?
